Microcon Debuts Spectrum Hospitality Suite at FS/TEC Trade Show in Dallas

Microcon Inc. formally debuted its Spectrum Hospitality Suite of software products for the restaurant and franchise food industry. The suite is currently comprised of five modules: Human Resources, Labor Scheduling, Production Planning, Back Office Xchange and DocView. The first commercial version of its suite is on display at the FS/TEC 2001 trade show in Dallas, TX October 22-24. FS/TEC is the premier food service technology trade show exclusively geared toward the restaurant and hospitality industry.

“We had been planning a commercial release of the hospitality software for the past year.” said Frank Flucke, Microcon CEO. “The last three months have been very hectic as we pulled all of the modules together and completed the web-based eHR product. We’re very excited about taking the suite to market and exhibiting it at the FS/TEC trade show.”

Brief product descriptions follow:

eHR is a web-based application that streamlines the hiring process with an intuitive employee data entry process. Additional features include a unique electronic signature capture capability, mandatory government forms such as W4 and I-9, and the archival of all employee data.

Labor Scheduling optimizes store staffing through labor forecasting based upon sales data accumulated from your POS.

Production Planning is an electronic ordering and product management application which creates orders based on sales history or previous orders, transmits orders to your provisioner and monitors product loss.

DocView is a full-featured web browser and customizable document viewer to view any type of file including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML and Acrobat. You control access to specific intranet and internet sites.

Back Office Xchange assures accurate and efficient data transfer between stores and to a central location.
